2.SUMMARY:
A foundational community organization with a focus on working with community development was faced with compliancy risks when new AI based tools were introduced in the market. Team members using these off the shelf search tools for the team without consideration for their unique industry regulations could result in significant challenges. The solution, a custom AI chat bot the organization provided equivalent functionality while allowing the organization to maintain control of the data and ensure compliance with all regulations.
3.PAIN POINTS:
With the increasing introduction of artificial intelligence-based search products, team members wanted to utilize these tools to simplify and improve their workflows. The advantages of such tools being widely reported in the media and in social circles; the benefits were clear. However, financial institutions face unique and detailed regulatory requirements that demand strict governance and controls. Compliance infractions could cause significant financial and legal challenges.
3.HOW WE SUCEEDED:
By working with the client to develop a custom artificial intelligence chat bot, we were able to implement the appropriate controls and boundaries to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, laws and policies. Connected to both public and organizational private data, the tool is able to respond to inquiries and respond in a manner consistent with the role and access of the individual user.
